Continuing
to pass on Stephen's legacy, The Ronnie Williams Foundation would like to thank
the Delaware State Police and Wilmington Charter School, for collecting funds
to ship beanie babies to Iraq.
Special thanks to Matt King with Medina Police Department in Washington State. Matt sent us the following email: "I
served with Stephen McGowan in Iraq. This past Veteran's Day, I showed
a video of Stephen and told his story to Medina Elementary School.
After hearing about the beanie babies, the students collected over 400
beanie babies to send to Iraq and put together a book of cards for
Stephen's family. Two boxes of Beanie Babies will be mailed to the RGW
Foundation from the Medina Police Department and Medina Elementary in
honor of Stephen McGowan." Thanks to Matt and the students of Medina Elementary for their extra effort to remember Stephen and our troops in Iraq!

for his Country.

memory lives on
in the faces of the children he touched. We and they will never forget
the soldier that knelt down and reached out to bring peace.
